OUR STORY
It usually starts with a missing shoe, a spilled cup of something, and at least one child asking approximately one million questions, all before anyone’s had coffee.
Du•etta was created by twin sisters Sarah and Megan, both mothers, both deeply familiar with the beautiful unpredictability of family life. We live in the world of big feelings, fast exits, and snack negotiations. And in the middle of all that, we felt a strong pull to capture it… the movement, the personality, the energy, and the fleeting moments that somehow define this season of life.
The name Du•etta comes from the idea of a duet — two parts moving together. Sometimes perfectly in sync, sometimes completely off-beat, but always connected. Much like families. Much like us.

WHAT WE BELIEVE
Family photography shouldn’t feel like an extreme sport.
We believe parents already have enough to think about, so we designed our sessions to take the pressure off; no checking the weather every five minutes, no packing backup outfits, no chasing toddlers with sudden escape plans, and no hoping a crowd doesn’t wander through at the worst possible moment.
Most of our work happens in our studio for a reason. No forecasting. No sprinting. No apologizing for your child being a child. Just a calm, creative space where kids can move, explore, make a mess, and parents can relax knowing someone else has the plan.
Our sessions are experience-led and art-forward. That means less posing, less pressure, and more room for the good stuff; laughter, curiosity, connection, and the moments that happen when no one’s trying too hard.

WHY WE DO THIS
Because one day, the chaos will feel quiet. The shoes will be found. The spills will stop. The questions will get fewer, then deeper.
And you’ll want to remember not just what everyone looked like, but what it felt like to be in it. We’re here to capture that season while you’re still living it.
Du•etta is about showing up as you are, letting go of the worry, and leaving with images that feel like your family.
